Capella Regalis Men and Boys Choir, directed by Nick Halley Featuring Ensemble Regalis Orchestra & Paul Halley, continuo Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir is pleased to present “Christ Lag in Todesbanden” by J.S. Bach in an online video broadcast this Eastertide! Composed by Bach in 1707 at the age of 22, this cantata is based on the eponymous Lutheran chorale, which is in turn based on the Gregorian chant Victimae Paschali. Eve of Saint Francis of Assisi, Trinity XVIII Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir will sing a series of Evensongs this Fall, starting this Sunday, October 3, at the Cathedral Church of All Saints. The public is welcome to attend this free service of music and prayer in person. Thanks to a grant from the A.E.J Fulford Trust of the Anglican Foundation, the Evensongs will be recorded (both audio and video) and made available on our YouTube Channel afterwards for others…

The Feral Four: A Night of Jazz at the Riverport Inn
On Friday, September 9th, the Riverport Inn will present “The Feral Four”: Glenn Patscha (piano), Nick Halley (percussion), Patrick Reid (bass), and Ian McGimpsey (guitar). Earth Mass (Missa Gaia) at All Saints Cathedral
Nick will be playing the drums and singing in the Earth Mass (Missa Gaia), presented by All Saints Cathedral in Halifax on the first Sunday in October.
