DESCRIPTION:World-famous oud player Nazih Borish\, bass player Roberto Occhipinti\, and percussionist Nick Halley will perform a benefit concert on May 7\, 2025 at the St George’s Round Church\, Halifax. \nAll proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Saint George’s Refugee Sponsorship Committee in support of their efforts to reunite the Al Marrach family here in Halifax with extended family living abroad. \nThis concert is presented in memory of Ahmad Al Marrach\, whose untimely death last spring has affected the lives of so many in our city.
